Island Songs: A Global Repertoire (Scarecrow Press 2011, ed. Godfrey Baldacchino) contains a chapter by Henry Johnson: “Jersey: Jèrriais, Song, and Language Revitalization”.

This chapter offers a discussion on the interconnection between Jèrriais and song (more specifically folksong using Jèrriais). It shows that song can act as a powerful medium in language revitalization, and that as an island Jersey has much to offer in terms of showing how language and song provide a means of celebrating and creating island culture.
